Get Your Noodle Fix: Ramen Lab Eatery Opens Third Location in Delray Beach

This summer in South Florida, it seems as though every day is a rainy day. What better way to watch the raindrops fall than inside with a warm bowl of ramen?

Ramen Lab just opened its newest location in Delray Beach, and it is the perfect causal dining spot.

Owner Louis Grayson opened Ramen Lab’s first location in Boca Raton in 2017, and the restaurant now has two more locations—an outpost at the Grandview Public Market and now in Delray Beach’s Pineapple Grove. The new restaurant is small but lively, with pop music blaring from the speakers and anime-inspired designs covering the walls. Edison light bulbs hang from ropes on the ceiling, giving the restaurant a cool, youthful vibe.

The menu features an eclectic mix of Asian dishes, including homemade gyoza that Grayson’s grandmother makes every morning along with her senior helpers. The star appetizer is the Spicy Korean Cauliflower, the perfect dish to start with before filling up on a huge bowl of ramen. Try the Shoyu Ramen, made with chicken broth, soy sauce, soft-boiled egg, bamboo shoot, scallion, mushroom, and nori topped with your choice of meat.

And don’t forget dessert… the “cheese tea” at the restaurant’s dessert bar, Sugar Milk, may sound strange, but it is nothing short of delicious. The iced chocolate drink topped with whipped cheese mousse is a sweet end to a satisfying meal. We’ll be spending our rainy days in Ramen Lab’s newest location, enjoying hot soup in a lively atmosphere.
